Dear Community,

On the front page of the site www.gardenscinamax.com I put an html module. I am trying to put a jpeg image in the background of the text. I put this jpg in the images folder that talks to the skin.css for my theme, and then I put the jpg with the images that go with the portal.css. I tried to use the fck editor in linking the portal.css to the module (just want this module to have the jpg background (so I chose instance?) also in portal.css I put ".photos { background: url ("thejpeg".jgp no-repeat: } or close enough, then tried to put a source code of html module in div tag, div class photos, inside the top of the module source, as well as trying to just put css and div tags in the module by itself calling to the images folder linked to the skin.css. Obviously I dont have a fck editor clue about what I am doing. Anyone know the simplest way to put a 900x600 centered no repeating jpeg behind text on the front page of this site with correct css, image placement and css style placement etc. I figure once I get this down, I can decorate the site and go on a design rampage. Thanks to all for reading, I appreciate any direction from the masters here.

 I dont completely follow but

I assume you want a different background in the module you are adding to the page

you could either create a container with the appropriate background

or

hard code a div around the html that goes in your text/html module and apply the class with appropriate background to this div that wraps the content.

Salar
