The image you posted seems to allow you to use one pane, add two modules and just which off the container for the second module or use a special container without a title skin object in it.

(might be it's more complicated then the image)

Christian,

As Timo has pointed out it looks like you could get away with using one container showing a title and another container below this without a title to achieve the desired layout with both modules placed in the same pane. This all depends on the style of the layout though as you may be looking for a border around the both items, linking them together in the design. Without seeing the actual concept it's difficult to make a recommendation on this.

An example of how to achieve 2 containers that appear as one would be to have a top container with a top left and right border, and then a bottom container with a left right and bottom border. If you make sure there's no gaps between these two containers they will appear to join.

There are several options, depending on the actual design, so if the above is not useful please do provide a sample of the concept and I'd be happy to take a quick look at it for you.
