Hi,

I am trying to understand what happened to my DNN website I am working on.  Please see http://hynetics.com/default.aspx

Notice that the home page is different than the other pages in that the scroll bar will allow you to scroll well beyond the bottom of the website.  All I thought I did was change the background to a gradient.  The other pages are fine except for the home page.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

That is definitely weird, I did some digging in Firefox using Firebug but couldn't locate the culprit. What happens if you apply a different skin to the home page?

First use an XHTML doctype and then try again ;-)

It seems to be caused by this HTML:

<v:group id="_x0000_s1038" coordsize="366708,293838" coordorigin="918298,958446"....

its in the container?

Timo,

Thank you very much for your prompt reply!  You were right!  I logged into the site and hid the container inside the content pane, and voila...the issue is resolved.  So I will be rebuilding the contents of this container as the client created this HTML using the FCKEditor and it appears it got messy.

I presume you discovered this by viewing the page source and doing a search for "height?"

Thanks again!

Dan
