 Dotnetnuke provides a feature to increase text size option for the end user who views the site

Please let me know how to use it?

This is done through a skin object/widget. Check out the default MinimalExtropy/Index skin to see how to use this in your own skins.

I am currently getting things setup so I can try to provide you some sample code here in a few minutes.

In the 5.2.3 default "index" skin for DNN here's what is in place

<div class="Widgets">

                <object id="SizeWidget" codetype="dotnetnuke/client" codebase="StyleSheetWidget" declare="declare">

                   <param name="baseUrl" value="<%= SkinPath %>css/variations/" />

                   <param name="template" value="&lt;div title='{TEXT}' {ID} {CLASS}&gt;&lt;/div&gt;" />

                   <param name="default" value="width1024" />

                   <param name="Width 1024" value="width1024" />

                   <param name="Width 1280" value="width1280" />

                   <param name="Full Width" value="widthfull" />

               </object>

               <object id="TextSizeWidget" codetype="dotnetnuke/client" codebase="StyleSheetWidget" declare="declare">

                   <param name="baseUrl" value="<%= SkinPath %>css/variations/" />

                   <param name="template" value="&lt;div title='{TEXT}' {ID} {CLASS}&gt;&lt;/div&gt;" />

                   <param name="default" value="MediumText" />

                   <param name="Small Text" value="SmallText" />

                   <param name="Medium Text" value="MediumText" />

                   <param name="Large Text" value="LargeText" />

               </object>

           </div>

You will want to check out the various CSS in use in that skin to fully understand how all of this works, basically CSS files get swapped out and modify the styles in place on the page.

Hi,

My name is Prabakaran.K .

My Html content are below:

 <object id="SizeWidget" codetype="dotnetnuke/client" codebase="StyleSheetWidget"
                declare="declare">
                <param name="baseUrl" value="/snapev2A/Portals/_default/Skins/MinimalExtropy/css/variations/" />
                <param name="template" value="&lt;div title='{TEXT}' {ID} {CLASS}&gt;&lt;/div&gt;" />
                <param name="default" value="width1024" />
                <param name="Width 1024" value="width1024" />
                <param name="Width 1280" value="width1280" />
                <param name="Full Width" value="widthfull" />
</object>

When i validate the above Html content for Web Content Accessbility guidelines( WCAG ) it told that object tag having element content. So i put the content like this

<object id="SizeWidget" codetype="dotnetnuke/client" codebase="StyleSheetWidget"
                declare="declare">
                <param name="baseUrl" value="/snapev2A/Portals/_default/Skins/MinimalExtropy/css/variations/" />
                <param name="template" value="&lt;div title='{TEXT}' {ID} {CLASS}&gt;&lt;/div&gt;" />
                <param name="default" value="width1024" />
                <param name="Width 1024" value="width1024" />
                <param name="Width 1280" value="width1280" />
                <param name="Full Width" value="widthfull" />

                Loading...
</object>

Now check again the WCAG is passed. But the sizewidget image does not shown in IE alone. Can you give me the solution for this...

Having the same issue. When you have one set of widgets, not a problem, but if you have 2 or more, the minute you navigate to another page or refresh the page, one of the widget sets will get replaced by a "not there" image placeholder. That happens on IE6 and IE7.
