I uploaded a new skin and applied it to a sample page. When I click on the links that corresponds to the token [LOGIN] and [USER], the page just reloads. When I use the DNN built-in skins, the links work. I did not change anything in the .acsx code, so I don't know what exactly I did wrong.

You should be able to find these in your skin's .ascx file:
<dnn:LOGIN runat="server" id="dnnLOGIN" cssClass="SelectedTab" />
<dnn:USER runat="server" id="dnnUSER" cssClass="SelectedTab" />

(of course, the cssClass may be different).

And in the uper portion of the same file:
<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="LOGIN" Src="~/Admin/Skins/Login.ascx" %>
<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="USER" Src="~/Admin/Skins/User.ascx" %>

Hope this helps you track down the problem.

I have all these :(. When I added some more tokens, I realized that all the links created by those tokens are not working.
