I may be over looking a simple solution for this but....Basically i want to redirect too a special skin or page with a different skin applied  for registered users only.
In the past i've simply assigned security roles to modules on the page but in this instance that would be somewhat tedious... so i would just like to redirect to a registered user page with a different skin after the user logs in.

What is the best solution? Security Roles to modules or ability to redirect to a total different skin template.

Please Advise...

You can set the redirect after login page but it's a bit hidden..

You set it here:

Users  > User Settings > User Account Settings > Redirect After Login
