I have a css nightmare going on.  With all the 3rd party modules, xsl transforms, and of course the core and core modules.  Sometimes it doesn't just work to put something in your portal.css.   Let alone find what css is effecting what text.   I have IE Developer tools but that just shows me all the css pages..

Is there a tool where i can highlight my mouse over text and see what css is effecting that text or right click on the web text and see what css is controlling it?

Silly me.. firebug in firefly does a priority listing of your css with a right click on the text.

Brandon, if you are using IE 8, there is a developer tool included. Press F12, use the arrow to highlight a part of the screen and get listed all styles applied, there is even a "find" option, which file current setting derives from.

And if not IE 8, you have the web developer toolbar that can be added to IE.  I prefer Firefox with Firebug for this.

Brandon,

I'd agree that Firebug for Firefox is the better of the 2, and it's my preference as I use it every day with DNN.

Rick.
