I upgraded to DNN 5.4.2 and changed my webconfig to use <htmlEditor defaultProvider="TelerikEditorProvider">

2 questions:

1. How do I change the default background?  Telerik is picking up a black body background, but my main site is in DIV layers above the background... so the editor background shouldn't be black!
2. How do I change the default toolbar?

Many versions ago, you could change the defaults for the FCKEditor right in the area where you were editing text... but that option seems to have disappeared.

Any thoughts?

Found some answers to questions:

Add this:
body
{
    color: #000;
    background-color: #fff;
    padding:3px;
    background-image: none;
    margin: 0px;
    text-align: left;
}

to /Providers/HtmlEditorProviders/Telerik/EditorOverride.css


To change the toolbar theme, go to:
/Providers/HtmlEditorProviders/Telerik/Config/ConfigDefault.xml

and change: <property name="Skin">Vista</property>

to one of the following:

<property name="Skin">Telerik</property>
<property name="Skin">Outlook</property>
etc.. can see a list at http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/editor/examples/default/defaultcs.aspx

Hi,

I have tried your solution and it works in all pages except home page. when i go to my home page site i noticed that the image background disappears, that occurs because the home page loads the "/Providers/HtmlEditorProviders/Telerik/EditorOverride.css". Any ideas how to fix this?
