I am trying to add items to the very top are of my site, just to the right of the logo. My logo image was 160 x 160 but when added to a page, I ended up with a big empty area 160px high by app. 900px wide. I wanted to use this area but was unable to determine how. I have since then expanded my logo to 1024 x 160, but I would still like to use this area, sort of like it is used here on the forum site, (at the top of the page where the round icons for download, forums, blogs, etc.. are).

Are those done using an image map maybe? I would also like to place a couple of flash slideshows in this area. Can this be done?

Thank you for any assistance.

Are you editing your skin files directly? If so, you can insert either HTML into the location you would like to place info, or you could turn it into a PANE so that you can place modules in there.

Thanks Chris, but I am nowhere near editing skins (or containers). Just trying to manage with the default ones, but I think my question is answered. I would need a skin with a pane located at that location, right? Is this the only way to get a flash object into that area? If so, maybe I can learn enough to alter the default skin to include it.
