I have been looking around but I can not find out how to do this.

I want to get the current logged on user's ID so I can use it in a URL like mysite.com/gallery.aspx?id='USER's ID'

the closest I have come from information gathered  is to use something like
<%=HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.Name%>

But by replacing 'Name' with 'UserId' give an error that UserId is not part of identity...

Thanks for the help

Mark

You can use the Userid from the UserId property for the PortalModulebase class form which every page in DNN is Inherited

Hope it helps !!

Thanks for the reply

I am not yet familiar with classes yet. I am more of a designer... What would an example of your suggestion be?

Thank you
