Is there any work being done to fix the DNN default skin?  There are broken page icons being shown in IE 8 and IE9.  Can this be fixed so DNN out of the box with the vanilla skin doesnt appear broken in IE 8+?  IE 8 has been out now since March 2009, and IE 9 has been available as a public beta since Sept 2010.

What version of DNN are you using, because I have not seen this issue in IE8 before...

I just checked again and the icons under Admin / Host menu are normally visible..

Sorry for not being clear.  I mean that the broken page link in IE shows up.  Look next to the address bar for the broken page icon that gives you the option of putting IE 8 into IE7 rendering mode.

Ehh.. that's the compatibility mode icon allowing you to set the browser to render as "legacy"
It's not for broken pages... nor is it the sites fault that the icon appears, it's an option of IE.

If you would have hovered the icon it would have shown you it's function...

I just read that blog.  THanks for the info.  I see that it seems to actually indicate the site is following standards if the icon is displaying?
