I want add a new pane to an existing DNN skin. I want to add a piece of test along the bottom of my page, above the footer but at the moment there is no pane to facilitate this.  I am a complete noob and I have found very little on the subject online. It doesn't appear to be something that can be done through the back end. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You will have to add a pane to your skin and you cannot do that from the backend.
I would start by reading this blog: http://blog.theaccidentalgeek.com/pos...
