I apologize if this is a double post, but my previous post is not showing up right now.

I installed DNN 5.6 and created a menu using the default menu that comes with DNN.  On all my pages, I have HTMLContent modules, but when I click the drop down menu, it disappears behind the HTMLContent of the page.

For some reason, this does not happen on my home page, but all my pages are using HTML Content.  I just modified the existing DNN home page, where as the other pages, I actually added the HTML content myself.

Any ideas on why this is happening?  Is there a setting I can change, or should I just try a new menu?

Hi

Can you provide a link to an example of this in action?

If you've got flash content and this is what the menu is disappearing behind, there's a video here showing how to fix this: http://www.psdtodnn.com/Blog/tabid/76...

If it's not flash, include a link and I'll have a look for you.

Regards,

Rick.

Unfortunately, this is an internal site, so I can only show code and screenshots.

Here is the first bit of HTML. This contains the image that is blocking it.

Performance Reports

I believe I ran into the same problem when I set up a site for a non-profit at the Atlanta GiveCamp: http://givecampatlanta.org/ . They wanted a different menu, so the organizer purchased another one and this became a non-issue.

Without seeing the skin in action it's difficult to determine the issue, might be a z-index issue, check the CSS for the menu to see if there's any applied to the sub menu, if not, add it in.

Let me know how that goes.

Regards,

Rick.

In the minimal extropy skin that comes with DNN, there is a correction for this issue, look for a z-index related to the menu
