Let me start off by saying I am a very new user...

I have a skin created in Artisteer and exported to a zip file and am able to import that skin nicely into DNN and everything is wonderful with the world until, and this probably never happens to you guys, the person who manages the site says they don't quite like that shade of red, can I make it more pinkish.  Two seconds in Artisteer and it is done.  Re-export the Zip file in another 2 secs.

Go to Extensions in Host to 'overlay' the new pink version and, even though it tells me the files will be overwritten, it fails the import with the following :

Install Extension

How do you update a skin?

Hi John, re-installing a skin is just like you said, installing it again, with the same name, over the previous one.
You just need to make sure that you are installing at the same level as previously installed skin (Portal level: Admin>Extensions or Host level: Host>Extensions).
Make sure you did install it at host level previously.
If you're in doubt, uninstall previous one, and install the new one again.
My best.
