I figured it out! Or well at least I tried something that worked. Is that the same thing?

I still do not know why I needed to do it on this skin for newer FF 4 and Chrome while other sites with different skins work fine under the new browsers.

If anyone has this issue check here:

http://www.w3schools.com/TAGS/tag_base.asp

All you need to do is add

< base href="http://www.w3schools.com/images/" / >   (without the spaces after <)

Between the < head > section of your default.aspx file.

Can I get the hours back I spent on this issue over the last 2 days? Knowing I might save you those hours is probably as close as I can get.

thanks

Oops. This 'fix' has pooched all the anchors in my site!

They now just go to http://www.mysite.com/#anchorlocation

which just kicks you to the home page from any anchor link.

So I need something besides the fix above to fix the ORIGINAL problem. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks,

Will

This is still an issue I could use some insight on.

If I add the base ref code above to default.aspx as described above it 'fixes' the FF4/Chrome issue but messes up links.

Another thing odd about this is it breaks the images in FF4/Chrome only on the home page www.mofga.org, others work.

Thanks,

Will

Have you asked the skin vendor for support?

It looks to be using the SOLPART menu, which I believe has been not recommended for years.

When I do a view source (in Chrome 13) I see loads of links to mofga.net.  That suggests it is not the browsers' fault, because those links are generated in the site.  I did see an aside comment recently that suggested that the solpart menu code does browser sniffing.  Maybe that sniffing code is broken by the later browsers.

I recommend a more modern menu.

Best wishes,
