Hi Folks, new to DNN skinning. I working on my first bunch of skins, they are all working great, except the olny issue I'm having is with the DNN navigation control. It rendereds perfectly for FF, but for IE7/8 & chrome it's not rendering correctly. So is using this module a waste of time? I'm trying to work quickly with DNN, but I keep getting tripped up on the little issues that are burning up time.
I'm very suprised to find that Cross Browser compatabilty seems to be something that is being overlooked? Have i got the wrong end of the stick on this one or is this the pink elephant in the room regarding css/xhtml?
please prove me wrong!! :)

Is your skin configured to use the XHTML Transitional Doctype?

I personally like use have my navigation render in UL/LI rather than the other options that the navigation provides. You just have to configure the navigation control to do that.

You can set the nav object to render the menus as an unordered list by setting the RenderMode to UnorderedList.

<customattributes>
<dnn:customattribute value="UnorderedList" name="RenderMode"></dnn:customattribute>
</customattributes>
</dnn:nav>
