Hi, I'm using the DNNMenuNavigationProvider and it outputa tables at the moment, how can I get it to output ul/li instead? Also does anyone have any easy straight forward navigation options for a newbie? I'm finding it really hard to find good solid documentation on DNN navigation.
thanks,
G! :)

Hi Gerard, you can try DNN's RADMenu, included with DNN from version 5.2.0.
Download it from http://dnnradmenu.codeplex.com/ and install it as a regular module.
It can then be used as a skin object.

Here's a link to a good resource to help you get started: http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/aspnet-ajax/menu/helpful-links-to-get-asp-net-ajax-radmenu-working-in-dnn-5-dotnetnuke.aspx

Some of the instructions might need to be adjusted (namely the path on the register directive), still it is a great help to put the menu to work.
My best,

Hi,

Do I need to take any license if I use DNN Rad Menu in DNN 5.6 community version.

You can use the standard menu to have a unordered list.

<dnn:NAV runat="server" id="dnnNAV"  ProviderName="DNNMenuNavigationProvider" IndicateChildren="false" ControlOrientation="Horizontal" CSSControl="mainMenu">

<CustomAttributes>

<dnn:CustomAttribute Name="RenderMode" Value="UnorderedList"/>

</CustomAttributes>

</dnn:NAV>

You can also use the Telerik skinobject at Codplex whithout licence.

In my opinion a better alternative is to use the menu from DNNGarden, as I understand this menu will become part of DNN in release 6.

You will find it here
