I'm not sure this is the right forum, but it's my best guess.  Feel free to move it to the right place!

I have a module that has a data-driven grid for the body.

I decided to add some explanatory text to the module header text on the module settings.

When I minimize the module using the - control on the skin, the explanatory text continues to show.    That was unexpected!  It makes sense once I thought about it, in a way.

Is there a way I can make the explanatory text go away when the module is minimized?  Some "IF" token I can wrap around the text?

Maybe the simplest answer is 'Don't do that!'.

It sounds to me as though the text really belongs with the module content.  I would recommend moving it inside the module next to the the grid.

Then they should all minimise as you want.

I just found the place in the 3rd party module that lets me do just that.

For those 3rd party modules that don't let one do that, any ideas?

Well the visibility skin object (Admin/Containers/Visibility.ascx) - that's the piece of UI that you click on for this - must have some way of remembering the current state.  A quick glance at the code suggests that it uses a cookie.

I guess some other skin object *could* do what you want.  I don't know of such an object, but maybe some friendly programmer will step up and create one.

Somehow you would need to find
