Hey  I am just playing with some things here and I want to know what the best way to do things are... I want to have a content pane on the left ... which i have figured out... and then I want to have on the right side a QUiock Links and Search bar modified (see below). I am wondering should I

1. use modules for the Quick Links (maybe a HTML one for this) and tjhe Search Input for the search? If this is the case how can I modify the search so that it is a little cleaner? right now it looks like this if I use the module. Then I force these 2 modules to appear on all pages.

or

2. Modify the page.ascx page to contain the quick links and search and modify it on here so that it appears on every page?>

This is what I am going for:

Yes that is normally a size problem. i.e.....

some skins define a logo area as say 160x50. if you put a image in that area that is larger it begins to slide the preset justification.

1. you can use code to define the area within the pane or you can edit the ascx to the desired size. You may just need a couple of <p>&nbsp;</p> for that.

2. I would try to code within the html mod. before i would go the ascx route. I hate coding.
