Hi All

i am imran using DNN 5.2.3 what an issue getting is

while i am uploading any flash from flash editor its showing me the followng error

A critical error has occurred.
Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow.

while i am running the flash in browser its working fine.

please help

your assistance is very much appreciated

Are you uploading a large file? Bigger than 8mb?

No its no big but 204kb only

while i am using Iframe module its working as expected but without iframe module flash not working on the page but

if i run the flash on site root its works

It sounds like the flash swf is getting confused about where it lives on your site.

When you load a flash swf you need to make sure you explicitly tell it where it was loaded from - otherwise it will think it was loaded from the portal root since it is technically being displayed on the default.aspx page in the portal root - when the swf itself may have been loaded from anywhere in your site via a module which has its own separate paths.
