Can anyone tell me why if I update my dnn 5.6 site to dnn 6 the skin still works fine.
However if I do a DNN 6 fresh install or even a dnn 6.0.1 install the manage buttons do not appear in edit mode on my skin.

Help please this is driving me made.
Whats the difference between a DNN 5.6 install upgraded to 6 and a fresh dnn 6 install.

The skins are table based.

Thanks
Paul

But that's not it I thought of that first the fresh install and upgrade site are all html 4 legacy fallback doc type so its not that.

Hi Paul,
I think there's no difference between a DNN 5.6 install upgraded to 6 and a fresh dnn 6 installation. For your question above, I guess there's CSS conflict existed. If you can provide URL of your site, I'm willing to check this question for you.
Regards,
Candice
