Is it possible to edit the login page? I would like to add a few modules to the login page but I can get to it. Is there a way to get to the login page after you log in?

Thanks

Paul

Hey Paul,

Yes, it's definitely possible. The trick is to make the Login page a real page in DNN.
  1. Create a page called "Login"
  2. Add the module "Account Login" to the page.
  3. Add any modules you would like to this page.
  4. Go to Admin > Site Settings and set your Login page as the new page you created.

That's not really editing the Login page is it? Also how can two pages have the same name? Wouldn't I have to delete the default login page or name the second login page something different? Could I then disable the default login page so that no one would navigate to it?

Hi Paul,

The Login and Registration pages are 'special' pages, if you want to customise them you need to create alternative pages and then set them up as Aaron has suggested (except that they they do need to have unique names other than 'login' or 'registration').

Once you have set up the new login page in Admin > Site Settings, the Login link will redirect to your new custom page.

Hope that helps.
