is it possible to combine the included menu with a tab that contains menu items that are pulled from a separate database table? I have a table od products I'd like to have displayed similar to a mega menu under one tab called products, but then I'd like to have all of the other pages handled by the normal menu system, say an about us page or a contact page. How would I do this?

Hi

You can look at the Nodemanipulatro option of the DDRMenu

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/DDRMenu-reference-guide.aspx#NodeManipulator_6

Or maybe a simpler way is how I have done it in the past

Add a hidden pane and in there drop a simple module or use the f&l modle to get back the data from your query and output as a unordered list

then you can use jQuery to appedn this to your module like

lets say you have a ddrmenu temalte that resturns something like

[li id="myproduct"][a href="whatever"]myproduct list[/a][/li]

and your product list in hidden pane is returned as

[ul id="myproductlist"][li]product1[/li][li]product2[/li][/ul]

then in the bottom of your skin just add the following jQuery

jQuery("#myproductlist").appendTo("#myproduct");
