Hello all,

I am constructing a simple homepage based on the DarkKnight skin with features stripped out.
There are three columns; in the left column I have inserted three text/html modules, one on top of the other.
I have removed the 5px space under each module from the skin.css file.

In Chrome the modules appear as I would expect, with no space between, i.e. they butt up against each other.
In IE 8 (and also 7) there is a small space between each module, around 2px in my estimation.

I've been tearing my hair out trying to find out how to get rid of this in IE - would anyone have any suggestions?
If I can't resolve this problem I can't really proceed with the site design at all...the extra space misaligns the whole page...

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions...I have some screenshots but don't see a way to attach them here...

Neil

Hi Armand,

Thanks for getting back...the site isn't live yet because of this problem - it's only on my local pc.
I do have screenshot gifs - is there any way to attach them here?

Thanks, Neil

unfortunately, attachements are not supported here - you may upload it to a different location and provide a link/include it in your post.

Hi Sebastian,

Understand - I will try to arrange a live site to demonstrate.
In any case it's easy to try - I add 3 consecutive modules to a single pane, one under the other, with coloured image blocks to fill them.
With the lower module margin set to 0 in skin.css, the space appears between each in IE8 but not Chrome.

It's a strange one and I hope it's something simple...

Thanks, Neil
