HI, we have installed DNN 5 on our server 2003 and we wish to migrate this to server 2008. For that I copied all the files and database to  new server and installed there. when I am trying browse this its is going to under construction Page. That means there something else I have to do  ,

 

Can any one help me to migrate dnn from serevr 2003 to server 2008

typically this indicates that the new webserver cannot connect to the database server (either network routing or else you havent set up permissions e.g. if it's using windows authentication the new website is not using the right windows user -see http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Testing-database-connections.aspx for some suggestions as to you to test this.

Thank you for your support. You are correct the problem was website is not connecting with database. I corrected this by give proper user name and password.
