I don't think they do. Do you have a counter example?

No, just a thought because I see no other webservices in my DNN. But could be hidden.

Anyway, struggling to figure out how to get this web service working. Gooddogs isn't doing me any good since I don't know where or what files/dlls I need to include to remove the errors about dnn.

What I said yesterday is still true. We cannot help you unless you explain the problem. 'I have build errors' says nothing useful.

Someone explained how installing a module will work. I need to include certain file/dlls in order for visual studio to stop complaining about errors that deal with DNN. This is something every person who makes modules would have to do on setup unless they have it automatically included.

So, errors won't go away until I can figure out what from DNN needs to be included in the properties.

Not to be unhelpful with this or anything, but it sounds like you should do some introductory reading on module development. What you're trying to do is just a slightly more advanced form of module development.

If I were you, I would start by going through some basic tutorials - not on webservices - but on how to create a "hello world" dnn module. Once you can do that, it's pretty easy to add the service and a lot of this other stuff will make more sense.
