Hi All --

I have got DNN 6 custom skin installed and used on my DNN web site's pages.

Now, I have to update that skin. Should I just run installation of the updated skin package and it will replace already installed skin deleting old version skin files and installing new version ones? (I do not see how to manually delete installed skin - deletion seems to be blocked for an installed skin used in a web site pages?). (If I run new installation and the the new skin package will have some new files and some files from prev. skin package will not be used anymore then I will get some "garbage" on my web site?...)

Yes, I can just delete skin files on my web site and unzip skin package and copy new files but that technique sounds a bit dangerous.

Sorry for that my  subject questions but I have to update a skin on a live web site and I do not have time to experiment on local version of that site, nor did I find any info by searching this forum using "updating skin" search string....

Thank you.

Hi All --

That was a silly question of mine, sorry.
I have just run new Skin setup over old one with replace/restore flag set and it worked fine.

Thank you.
