I'm trying to recreate a 4.9.2 site on 6.1.3 using export portal.  I have managed to get the template to import without content so I get the page structure. Attempting to import with comment does nothing. Just sits there with no error when I hit finish.

So I try to export content on model at a time. No joy. The only way to export and mport is cut and paste. None of the export contracts are visible when I try to import. No files show up on the drop down. To be sure I cut and paste textHTML to a model n the new site, export and sur enough it shows up on the import list but others in the same directory do not.

I'm at wits end why this is happening.

templates can only be used for transferring content between sites of same DNN and module versions I suggest cloning your source website and upgrading the clone in order to create the template.
