I notice in some screenshots of v6.2 running DarkKnight that the user link in the top right corner which used to be plain text is now a nice set of graphics showing the user pic, messages and notifications. However after upgrading I'm not seeing this. Is it supposed to be there?

it's an update to the user skin object, I dont believe we upgrade existing skins (as people would complain if the look & feel changes), however you can make these changes yourself.Either copy over the files from an "install" build, or else locate the users control definition in your skin and add ShowUnreadMessages and ShowAvatar as attrbiutes and set both to true.

 I have three 6.1.5 to 6.2 upgrades where the skins were replaced ... not that I'm complaining ;)

The "My profile" area on my site was also automatically updated upon upgrade from 6.1.2 to 6.2.0. I don't believe I had made any skin changes so this worked for me!

sorry, my mistake -i knew we added additional properties to the users skin object and set them to false to not alter users skins, but forgot that we updated the darkknight skin to use the "true" version of those properties.
