I have JQuery Popup which open when i go above specific link (mouse hover) after upgrading my DotNetNuke Portal ...my popup module not working well ...the popup appears in the most bottom of the page and it shall appears above the link
after some tries i found that the problem in default.css which in portals folder in that line
.DnnModule {position: relative;z-index: 902; }
the problem in position : relative ...when i changed it to static my popup module working ok ...but the problem is manage buttons disappears ...so is there any way to show my popup module above the link and without bad effects in portal manage settings

the problem is not in position relative alone. The z-index of your popup needs to be above the 902. Another option I use as well since my normal users dont need the module actions is to just have som jquery run when its a normal user to remove the .DNNModule class ( this is the one that i causing all the problems and its only needed for the action menu button )

Thanks Aremand for your help but as you see my div has z-index = 1000 and the dnnmodule z-index is 902 ...so i think the problem is not in z-index  .. could you tell me more about that other solution

I recall reading somewhere that you cannot override the Z index from 'lower down'. So it may be that your z-index has no actual effect.
