How do you remove the Search Box from the menu bar in the default skin? Thanks.

Hi,

this is part of the skin, so if you want to remove it, you have to remove the appropriate tag from the skin file (or comment it out there). Find something like

<dnn:SEARCH ID="dnnSearch" runat="server" UseDropDownList="true" EnableTheming="true" Submit="Search"  />

and delete it, or comment it like

<%--
<dnn:SEARCH ID="dnnSearch" runat="server" UseDropDownList="true" EnableTheming="true" Submit="Search"  />
--%>

Best wishes
Michael

I tried that ... <%- with -%> ... and then replaced the file ... it messed up my site layout .... I want to 'remove' the Search box all together.
