Hi,

i know this has been asked lots of times and the problems i have are probably related to the z-index issue but is there any "how to make your skin dnn 6- fit" - guide i can follow. I'm currently running into lots of troubles by just modifying diverse css files (skin.css, module.css) and dont really see a way out as even high z-index values do often not overcome the issues i have.

My main problem: the control panel appears behind the module. (no z-index defined for module) the one for the control panel seems to be overwritte for reasons i cannot figure out.

Please note that everything seems to work fine in Chrome as well as FireFox!

Any hint or help is highly appreciated!

best regards, Michael

I had the same problem with IE9 but found a solution on dotnetforum. Change fall back doctype (under host settings) to XHTML 1.0 transitional. This solved my problem and I dont have run IE9 in comoatibility mode anymore.
