Hi,

Our Materials Page is demonstrated a strange behavior relative to the flyout menu.  The flyouts are rendering behind the header image.  The skin package NAV entry is as follows:

<span>

<dnn:nav runat="server" id="dnnNav" csscontrol="mainMenu" indicatechildren="true"

providername="DNNMenuNavigationProvider" CSSNodeSelectedRoot="main_dnnmenu_rootitem_selected">

<CustomAttributes>

<dnn:CustomAttribute Name="RenderMode" Value="UnorderedList" />

</CustomAttributes>

</dnn:nav>

</span>

I see that DDR Menu is installed on our DNN 6.x instance and am wondering if the rendering issue can be resolved with inclusion of a DDR Menu property setting?  Or, is this issue being caused by some other problem?

you need to provide appropriate z-index value in CSS for menu and items, which should stay behind.

Hi Sebasian,

Here's the CSS for our menu:
.header .menu {
height: 40px;
width: 916px;
float: left;
border-top: 1px solid #ccc;
border-bottom: 1px solid #ccc;
margin-top:10px;
}
What would be the appropriate z-index value?

Thanks,
Sid

Hi guys,

I am experiencing the same issue with DNNFreeStyle skin template as well. The submenu flyout is hidden behind the content of the TopPane. I tried applying the z-index to

.fs_menu_control .m0 {z-index: 10; border: 2px solid ##f5f4f4; background: white;padding: 7px 0;-webkit-border-radius: 6px;-moz-border-radius: 6px;border-radius: 6px;}
.fs_menu_control .m0 .mi td {z-index: 10; padding: 5px 5px 3px;}
.fs_menu_control .m0 .mi .icn {z-index: 10; padding-left: 10px;}
.fs_menu_control .m0 .mi.hov {z-index: 10; background: ##f5f4f4}

but it still doesnt work.
Anyone knows how to solve this issue.

Thanks alot,
Dave
