New to DNN.

I am needing to link to a web page passing a parameter with the user name.  For instance: http://x.com/test.aspx?name=Dan.  The name needs to be variable.  Is it possible to http://x.com/test.aspx?name=[Profile:DisplayName].  This would be a token like in the HTML module where you can use tokens.  I an put the hyperlink in an HTML module and it works.

I tried doing this in the menu URL but it does not get replaced.

Any ideas of how to make this work?

Total hack but I ended up adding some jquery to the skin that looked for the token and replaced the token with jquery code.

Maybe this will give someone a clue if they need something similar.

$(document).ready(function () {
    $("a").each(function (index) {
        var x = $(this);
        var href = x.attr('href');
        if (href == null) href = "";
        if (href.indexOf("[customer]") > 0) {

            Add your code to change x.attr('href') here.

            });
        }
    });
});
