Hi, this might be impossible? but I intend to use a single installation for developing modules and skins for several of our third sector customers.
I am able to work in VS2010 directly in this DNN 7 installation and I would like to have a row of menu tabs for each of the clients, under these menus they will have their own skins and other developed extensions.

That is not a problem, but these clients will sometimes have to sit with me while we demo their skin/extensions etc, so I would also like to be able to change the site logo when a new skin/page is loaded ( the skin never looks right if their own logo is not in place.)

Is there a way to set the logo dynamically in each skin similar perhaps to how asp.net can have the image path set in a themes skin file.

If you control the skin code then you can do whatever you like.

The default skins that ship with DNN use a skin object. That object pulls up the logo from configuration. It makes sense when loads of users just use the default skin.

You don't have to do that. If the skin is personal to a customer hard code the logo in it. One less thing to configure when you install it.

It's standard ASP.Net coding.

Open the skin.

Remove the logo skin object

Replace it with your preferred image tag.
