How do I hide the "required" asterisk in the registration form? I'm using the "Account Registration" module. I tried putting display: none; and visibility: hidden; in the p.dnnFormRequired span style in the \DesktopModules\Admin\Security\module.css file but it didn't work.

Find your default.css file (probably somewhere near line 888)... the " span.dnnFormRequired:after,div.dnnFormItem.dnnFormRequired > div.dnnLabel span:after" CSS selector and remove the * from the content specification & you should be good to go.

That worked, thanks!

On a related note - how do you edit the text that appears in the information hover pop-up for registration fields that are built into the module, like User Name, Password, Display Name etc.? They aren't listed in the User Account Profile Settings. I've looked through various back end files but can't find it.

Nevermind - just found it. DesktopModules\Admin\Security\App_LocalResources\SharedResources.resx
