hi,

We are using a background image that needs to span the top of the page. This image includes the logo.

In a older version of DNN this was achieved by the following

.top { background-image:url(images/Jesmond_redbar.jpg); background-repeat: repeat-x; background-position: 50% 0; }

now running DNN7 with a skin that chnages depending on viewer type (eg ie, firefox or ipad or iphone)

question is, i cant work out how to Center the image.

current code is css is

#skinall {position: relative;width:100%;min-height:100%;min-width:960px; background:url(images/Jesmond_redbar.jpg) repeat-x left top #f1f1f2; overflow:hidden;}

 Thanks in advance

A little hard to know exactly how your code should look like, but below you can see how I center the background images. It works no matter what device visiting the page.

.CenterMyImage
{
 background-image: url(Images/MyImage.jpg);
 background-repeat: no-repeat;
 background-position: center center;
}

When I read your code, it seems that you repeat the image in the x direction and as a centering will probably not be visible. It is possibly the elemenet that you need the center and not the image.
