Hey guys,

I am  trying to figure out how to overlay a pane on top of my banner pane, so I can edit the two separately. (the idea is to have an HTML module layered ontop of a slideshow module that I use called DNNGO)

The problem I'm having is forcing he slideshow below the nav bar when it switches over to responsive mode.

I was able to hack it together, but when I resize the skin into responsive mode, the slideshow falls under the mobile menu.

I think I have the general idea down but I am missing something.

Here is the dev site (this is my sandbox site so ignore everything but the slideshow and the overlay. The current slide show being used is a stock jQuery slider that comes with the skin.)

Any tips or tricks are very welcome

Create a new Container with a new class and ID  on the top of the DNNGO Container. Play with the css class properties 'display' and 'float' in the Skin.css class of the new Container.

Matthias,

Thanks for responding! I don't think I completely understand. Can you expand on that? Do you mean within the index.ascx file?

Yes I mean the index.ascx or any other ascx file e.g. internal.ascx or admin.ascx.  A Skin can have different layout files.  If you want you can look to the source code of my Skin package you can find on http://aarsysmetro7skin.codeplex.com it is formed as a Visual Studio Project and included 4 Skins with different internal layouts.  At time there is no source package availible, but all files can be viewed in VS or with any Editor.
