Richard,

Thanks for your thoughts!  I took a look at DarkKnightMobile and it uses jQuery but no jQuery Mobile.  I also tried the script in the article and it worked the same as what I have.  It corrects the links but not the form elements.

Any other thoughts are appreciated!

I though you were talking about view and some edit buttons.

I think it will be a very difficult task to get the Host pages working in combination with jQuery mobile.

There are such a lot of jQuery and other JS controls, that I would not even try that to be honest.

@John: It looks like you might have your issues fixed, but I am curious as to what you are using the mobile library to do specifically?

Thanks for all your responses.  Ultimately, I'm trying to build mobile web apps with DNN and jQuery mobile and take advantage of some of the buttons and transitions that jQuery Mobile offers.  I still can't get jQuery Mobile to work without interfering with the admin user interface so much that it is unusable.  Just editing an HTML module isn't possible because the form elements breaking.  After many hours of research on this, I'm starting to share Timo's perspective that trying to get jQuery Mobile to work with DNN is too difficult.  I know there is interest in the DNN community about using jQuery Mobile with DNN, but right now, I can't find a way.

I think "I want to use jQuery mobile" might be the wrong goal. "I want to have mobile friendly web pages" seems like a more useful objective. jQuery mobile is only one way of getting to the second.

Kevin pointed out that jQuery mobile fundamentally conflicts with ASP .Net Ajax. Given that the DNN admin is largely built on ASP .Net Ajax I'm not surprised that you have having trouble.

Best wishes,
