I need to customize the styles of a form I generated with the Form and List module.  I was able to customize the form's appearance by modifying the .dnnFormItem styles, however the text fields use the style .dnnFormItem input[type="text"] which is also utilized by the username field in the login.  I did not want to use the same styles for my custom form as the login fields.  Is there a way I can specify a custom style identifier for the username login field (i.e.: .dnnFormItem input[type="username"] so I may specify specific styles for that field?

Thanks in advance,

Kim

i guess it is easier to put a div around your F&L form, give it an ID, and use that to specify the styles with. eg. #myform .dnnFormItem input[type="text"]

(input[type="username"] is not a valid CSS identifier AFAIK)

Great suggestion Erik. Thank you for your reply. For now I was able to resolve my styling concern by using a light color opacity on the fields of my form. However, I will be implementing your suggestion for some other styles in my skin. Thanks again.
