I built out my first DNN site this weekend and ran into a few issues I wasn't sure how to handle properly.

There were some content snippets which I wanted to be editable but not have to be re-applied on every page that was created.

And example would be in the footer, the companies address/contact info. Or in another section there's a carousel with some div tags which needs to appear on every page using the skin.

My (probably wrong) approach was to just put them in the skin.

In DNN is there a way to have a placeholder or something similar where the users can edit content but not have to duplicate their effort on every page created.

Skin settings I guess is what I'm after.

Andrew: If you want the users to be able to EDIT the content, you DON'T want it as a skin object. In DNN, you can set a module to display on All Pages in a site. This is probably want you want users to do.

I'll have to try that out!

 Thanks!
