Hello! I'm new to DNN. I looked at it YEARS ago but now my church has tasked me with the job of coming up with a website for them that people can edit themselves for their various groups. I remembered DNN and now I'm in the process of implementing it. Which leads to my dumb noob question:

I first installed the default website to get a feel for how DNN works. Then I decided to start over and I ran the "Site Wizard" and chose "Blank Website" and a new skin I installed called "Tidy" which I downloaded at http://tidy.codeplex.com/. No matter what I do I still can't get rid of the grey footer with the globe in the footer. It doesn't appear anywhere else except for the home page (the only page for the site I have right now). On all the admin pages it displays the proper "Tidy" footer. I can't seem to find how to fix this. I know this is probably something very simple I'm overlooking, but it has been driving me crazy all weekend and this morning.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Rick

Rick,

It might be coded into the actual skin ascx file.

What is the URL of the site?

What is the DNN 7 version you are using?

Regards
Mike

you may have a different skin associated with the home page, please check page settings and make sure, it is using Website skin.
