I'm using *.ascx files for my skins and containers on DNN 4.3.2. I include

<dnn:TITLE runat="server" id="dnnTITLE" />

but don't see any CSS classes for this (or most other skin objects) in the skinning doc's appendix B. Through trial and error I've found that CSS rules for the Head class affects this, but not #dnnTITLE or in-line styles.

Is there any way to set unique CSS classes for these skin items? .Head is also used elsewhere (e.g. Articles titles that aren't links), so I have yet to find a way to style JUST a dnn:TITLE.

Also, is there a way (other than hunting through the source code emitted by the browsers) to see what CSS Classes are defined for these skin objects? I'm happy to rummage through the source code but would appreciate knowing what to search for or to have a file name to start with!

You can insert "CssClass=" if you wish to create a custom class.  In DotNetNuke Skinning.pdf pages 46-57 you can see what the attributes are for the various skin objects.  I'm not aware of a single document describing all those defaults, though if you peruse default.css in /Portals/_default many of the classes there are self-descriptive.

I went through all of the classes and created images to demo exactly what properties each class affects. I've put all of the info in this website completely for free: www.skinningtoolkit.com

Just go to the search box type in the property you want to style, ie 'breadcrumbs' and it will tell you the class that you need

Hope this helps, thanks,

Lee,

What a great resource!  Thank you for putting that together, I'll share it with many people.

If you haven't already, I'd suggest you post it to http://www.dnndir.com/ the directory Rodney Joyce put together.
