Hello,

We purchased a new skin through DNN Store, but we need to customize it. How can I customize it? I have all package. How can I open it all package in Visual Studio? I don't have the solution file.

Thanks

John

Read Joe's skinning primer - http://www.theaccidentalgeek.com/post...

You probably should check the licence agreement. You may not have the right to modify it.

Hi,

We can modify the skin according to the license. I guess they need to send the solution file, right?

 Thanks

Depending on how complex the skin is, you may not need the solution file. You can likely just edit the ASCX files to make your changes.

You can also create your own Solution/Project files and simply "add" the existing files into that. Most skins (not all) don't actually require any compilation, so just adding the ASCX files into a new project will be fine.
