How can I use page templates in DNN9? I read Sebastain's thread at http://www.dnnsoftware.com/forums/thr...

However this is just for site whole site templates and I need to know how to use a "Page Template' on particular pages. I don't see the option anywhere in DNN9 to "Import Template" nor do I see any option when creating a page to use a page template.

Please advise on how we can "Import Page Template" for individual pages in DNN9.00.02.

Thank you

There seems to be a bug/missed feature in DNN 9.0 - 9.0.2 regarding templates at the portal level. The Template Manager does still show portal templates, but there is a problem with a temporary work-around you can apply. Once you install the Theme, you can move it to the portal level. That would be in /Portals/5/Skins/skin-name for portal 5, for example, and /Portals/5/Containers/skin-name for its containers. This would get it working for pages that have it selected, or the whole site. However, Template Manager does not look for it in that location, but rather in /Portals/5-System/Skins/skin-name and /Portals/5-System/Containers/skin-name (note the change of the portal location to 5-System). So, the page looks in one location and the Template Manager looks in another. Temporary work-around that I have used is to copy the files into both locations. That seems to work.

I must reverse that suggestion. Copying to both locations produces another error when trying change a module's settings on the page. You get a URL of:
/Default.aspx?tabid=1433&error=An+item+with+the+same+key+has+already+been+added.
This error is documented on the forum at:

 http://www.dnnsoftware.com/answers/-a...
 and
 http://www.dnnsoftware.com/answers/pa...

I have tried changing the Tabs table for affected pages, but that doesn't work either. The only solution I see for now is to place the skins in the folder for the whole system.

Its certianly related to https://dnntracker.atlassian.net/brow..., but that got closed as a duplicate bug. Hopefully an upcoming version fixes it.
