I'm trying to develop skins. The most important part of this nowadays is width. This damned thing is in the way on the left. Why it can't be at the top of the page where it doesn't interfere I just don't know. I can't view my skin properly without logging out to get the thing off the screen and out of the way.
Am I completely stupid and missing a way to achieve this without constantly logging in and out?
What are other skin designers doing about this?
If I had my way I would move the Persona Bar to the Trash Can and would rather use the old Control Bar.
Of course, the other question is how can I replace it altogether. It's slow. It's buggy, badly conceived and just a plain nuisance.
In my opinion it's also in the completely wrong place with no way of moving it.
Even now after 9.0.0, 9.0.1, 9.0.2, and now 9.1.0 it's still buggy!
In fact if we're going to have to put up with this thing in the future I'm finished with DNN.
While I'm here having a rant I also notice that creating a new page as a link to a URL with "Open in new page" STILL doesn't work since 9.0.0. I noticed one developer said he couldn't reproduce the problem! Well it happens EVERY time you try to do it and despite being reported more than once it still isn't fixed.
Oh and NO I cannot fix these things myself. I'm not a good programmer that's why I "try" to use a CMS but for me this is proving more trouble than it's worth.
PS Why does this "Rich Text Editor" keep deleting lines of text when you press return for a new line?
