Hi,

I am currently trying to implement a Telerik Drag and Drop Radgrid onto a page within our DNN site but am experiencing a problem whereby when dragging the items around they do not line up with where you would expect.

I have tracked the problem back to a 38px margin-top on the body element of the HTML. I can see this within the inspector as an inline style (can therefore not see the source):

I can understand that this margin is needed to stop content hiding beneath the top admin bar but it is causing havoc with the RadGrid and so I'd rather change this to padding instead of margin unless anyone has a better approach?

It seems the value differs slightly as sometimes it is 36px sometimes 38px and so I cannot simply override this in the skin files.

Has anyone any idea where this margin top is coming from and how I can go about changing it to some padding instead? This would mean the content would still start after the admin bar, not beneath it and it would not mess with the RadGrid

Thanks,

Scott

Which DNN version are you using?
Please note that DNN is currently phasing out the use of Telerik controls in the framework

Hi Sebastian,

We are on DNN 07.04.01 (280).

Yes we are aware of the phasing out of the Telerik controls however we actually have our own license with Telerik and so will be continuing to make use of their controls for the foreseeable.

unless it is stated in the Skin source, the margin might be added by core framework code
