I like to prevent the persona bar from sliding in and out on every page load.
There should be a css adjustment to fix the persona bar to the left.

Can someone post this css adjusment or send me the link where to find it?

I opened a new ticket here DNN-10302 hoping it would be fixed. There is similar ticket DNN-9061 that was closed because it was argued that the PersonaBar has always worked that way in EVOQ and nobody complained about it. I don't think it's a fair argument because there are a lot more DNN Platform users than EVOQ users. If just a few Platform users complain about it may mean it has been neglected in EVOQ. Please post your comment in the new ticket to share why you think it's important and how it affects you. It will help build up a case.

I have a problem with the bar on the left all together. It should never have been removed from the top. I have flyout tabs on the left of my websites for the employees directory but I can not access the tab myself and any of our editors lose the access to the tab because of the position of the persona bar.

I've given up with DNN because of this. Actually, that's a lie I have ONE customer who continues to use it but luckily that's as an intranet so I stayed on 8.04 I think it is with the security issues that they won't fix. For me it's unusable with the bar on the left (not to mention all the bugs). I NEVER saw ANYONE complain about the position of it when it was at the top.
In my mind EVOQ is used by users. Community version is used by developers, that's why EVOQ users aren't complaining about it. How many of them are creating skins?
It's just a ridiculous decision putting where it is and having it behave the way it does.
Unfortunately, some of the decisions made and upgrades since about version 5/6 have meant DNN has become unusable. A CMS is meant to make life easier to create a website but not with this, it's so full of bugs and as soon as they fix some they introduce another bunch of them. What's worse is they don't listen or they're too stubborn or blinkered to listen to reason. THEY KNOW BEST, AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT TOUGH! LIKE IT OR LUMP IT. That's the feeling I get.
I still find it quite amusing that the last time I tried to edit a css file I had nearly 350 of them to battle with to find what I was looking for!
Hey, if they can't create their own website to work properly without bugs what hope have we got?
DNN started dying as soon as EVOQ appeared. Don't forget we're just unpaid alpha/beta testers for EVOQ.
My advice, do yourself a favour and move on to another platform this one is dying a very slow death.
