I could sware that I've done this in the past at some point, but I need to be able to click on the top level on a horizontal solpart menu and rather than having dnn open the page at the top level, i need dnn to drop down the submenu... essentially, i do not want the top level to be clickable and link to a page, but rather drop down child menus that do go to pages. Anyone have an idea on how to accomplish this?

thanks in advance,
jeff

Just disable the top level page, then only subpages will be available and will cause a drop down menu effect.

yes, that worked... thanks! now, i still have a few menu items that don't have subs and I would like to leave those enabled which is easy enough, however i can't see an easy way of having the menu item selection in solpartmenu light those ones up... looks like i only have css options for menuitem selection or submenuitem selection
