Hi

Just installed DNN and are now looking at how i can redesign my page.
I looked at some skins and i can see that they are all set up by tables.
So im wondering why tables instead of pure CSS layout?

I'm not trying to put a dampner on these things but you might like to read more about that topic here.

Yes you can make some sites with no tables, but you have to change the core structure of DotNetNuke and you have to use only a couple of modules, making managing your site somewhat restrictive.

However, in time we're seeing more improvements with DotNetNuke over time and the focus is moving towards compliancy and validation, which don't necessarily mean removing all the tables.

Hope this gives you an insight.
